The primary types of licenses provided are rights to use the designs for finite, limited licensing terms, The following is a brief description of each type of license offered.
Non exclusive is the least expensive. It’s for artwork that elevates a product without concern about competitors having the same design.
Exclusive is twice as expensive as a non exclusive and offers category specific product license that allows only your organization to have the design during your license term.
For example, if you make kids clothing, and would like an exclusive license, no other kids clothing maker can have the design while you have an active license.
Custom/Commission is to explore a commission to create a new design. This option tends to be more costly than the previous options but it always depends on what the project requires. I price accordingly to how much work I would be required to do.
I usually do not offer buyouts of my work but it depends on the project.

My file types are flexible so I can offer all file types regardless.
They originate in high resolution 300 DPI seamless repeat format, and available as jpg, .png, Indexed GIF, and vector.
Because of my expertise across design programs I can adapt artwork to a variety of file types even watercolor to vector without lost quality of what makes the art special.
Most licensing partners who request an editable or vector file, require a need to manage colors for production and file types I do enable color management for production either in vector for raster format.
Otherwise, I don’t usually offer files with editing capabilities unless I’ve agreed to offer a buyout.

Can I get an Illustrator vector or layered Photoshop file?
Layered files are not available for licensing. I can offer a file type that allows colors to be tweaked, which includes an ‘indexed format’ in Photoshop. Or I can convert the file to a vector for an additional fee. Due to how I convert to vector, the file will not be editable beyond color adjustments.
-
Can I use a design exclusively?
Usually, no. Published designs are only available for non-exclusive use. Exclusivity may be offered on a category-specific basis. Designs can’t be licensed to competitors during the license term, but the design will remain wherever it is published. To make a design more exclusive, you can request a customized coloration. Start by filling out my licensing form to discuss your design needs.
-
Why was my item reported for infringement?
If you are selling a product that features my design, and I didn’t license it to you or the supplier of your goods, it is copyright infringement and considered counterfeit goods.
One red flag to watch out for is whether the design appears on faux leather. I do not license designs for imported printed vinyl “leather” out of safety concerns. Therefore, any printed vinyl “leather” that features my design is a counterfeit.
