How I started with Spoonflower
In 2012, I learned about the print-on-demand (POD) site Spoonflower from a textile design classmate.
I was intrigued, and joined and then started ordering samples for my portfolio. I uploaded designs and started making small sales, and received a licensing inquiry for swimsuit fabric.I was still working at a full-time design job, but I watched my passive income become more interesting and formulated a plan.
In 2015, I got serious about POD sites when I started my business. My sales and interest in my art, design, and patterns grew from there.
